One week left before the election.

Running for office is not an easy thing. You have to raise money, hope you can get enough volunteers to help with the physical work, schedule meet and greets, shake hands, smile all the time, wear the right clothes, listen to a lot of different stories and answer many tough questions. At the same time you have to have a life of your own.

I told the Gardner News several months ago that I was going to "have fun" running my campaign. I have not deviated from being myself, have always told the truth, have learned an incredible amount about government and politics and am now really waiting for the week to pass by. It's going to be the longest week in my life.

If you have taken time to read my Facebook pages, liked what type of person I am, I ask that during this final week you take the time to call a friend to let them know I might be worth considering on November 2nd. Tell them about my website but more importantly, tell them about the person you know, that you think just might represent the people and who might actually care. It's a judgement call when you vote on November 2nd. I'm asking that you use your best judgement and if you think I'm worth the effort, please tell someone you know. Of the people who read this post, if it's just a dozen people who then tell another two dozen that actually might help me to win the election. It's going to be very close. Four unique individuals are running for this office, all seem passionate to serve and all will change things, hopefully for the better.

Life is so interesting to me; winning will be nice and certainly will change my life. It might actually change yours as well.

Carolyn
